To delete LS Recommend Calculation Logs

Whenever a Scheduler job is executed for LS Recommend, information such as the start and end date time for each task and task status will be logged into the LS Recommend Calculation Log.

To view LS Recommend Calculation Logs

  1. Click the icon, enter LS Recommend Calculation Log, and select the relevant link.
  2. You can also view the LS Recommend Calculation Logs by clicking the Current Usage % tile in the LS Replenishment Role Center, the LS Recommend section, Usage Monitoring. For more information on calculation limits see How to: Set Up LS Recommend Calculation Limit.

Below are the fields in the LS Recommend Calculation Logs page:

Field Description
Scheduler Job ID This field shows the job that was scheduled for the master data synchronization or recommendation calculation.
Batch No. This field shows the batch number of the recommendation calculation.
Job Type This field shows the type of the scheduled job with the below values:
  • Master Data Sync.
  • Calculate Recomm. Batch
  • Load Recomm. Batch
  • Unload Recomm. Batch
Started This field shows the date and time when the process started.
Ended This field shows the date and time when the process ended.
Duration This field shows the elapsed time of the process.
Calculate Recommend Run ID This field shows the run ID of the recommendation calculation.
No. of Calculations This field shows the number of calculations performed in the recommendation calculation.
Calculation Blocked This field shows if the recommendation calculation was blocked because it has exceeded the calculation limit. A recommendation calculation can also be blocked, if its estimated usage value is equal to zero.
Error Occurred This field shows if an error occurred during the process.
Message Text This field states the result of the scheduled job, or if the log is the result of a manually triggered recommendation calculation. Additionally, if a recommendation calculation exceeds the warning threshold or the calculation limit, that will be indicated in this field. The recommendation batch status that you might encounter when there are issues with the calculation:
  • DataError - Sales history data mismatch with POS Terminals master data, or there is no sales history.
  • EmptyModel - No meaningful recommendation can be produced due to items that appear to be sold individually more often than any other items.
  • Error - Unexpected or LS Recommend Engine error.

To delete LS Recommend Calculation Logs

You can delete the LS Recommend Calculation Logs periodically by setting up the Scheduler Job DELETELOGS and the Days Calculation Logs Exist field in the LS Recommend Setup page.

  1. Click the icon, enter LS Recommend Setup, and select the relevant link.
  2. In the General FastTab, fill in the Days Calculation Logs Exist field. This field specifies how far back in days to keep the LS Recommend Calculation Logs. All LS Recommend Calculation Logs older than the defined period will be deleted, if the Scheduler Job DELETELOGS is enabled.
