How to: Schedule Master Data Synchronization

The master data, such as LS Recommend Batches, LS Recommend Items, and LS Recommend POS Terminals, are the pre-requisite components for LS Recommend to calculate recommendations. They must be set up in LS Central and uploaded to LS Recommend before the recommendation calculation can be performed.

To perform the upload action, you have the option to upload the data manually or schedule the synchronization process by using Scheduler Job.

To schedule synchronization of master data

  1. Click the icon, enter Scheduler Job List, and select the relevant link.
  2. Create a new Scheduler job by clicking the New action, or select an existing job.
  3. In the General FastTab, define the Job ID and Description.
  4. Select or create a new Scheduler Job Type Code.
  5. In the Object Setup FastTab, select Codeunit in the Object Type field and assign the Object No. with 10016257 (LSC Recomm. Data Sync.).
  6. Go to the Schedule Details FastTab, define the date and time for when you would like the job to be executed. This includes Time Units, Time Between Check, Next Check Date, and Next Check Time.
