How to: Set Up Notification Rules
Actionable Insights informs you proactively about exceptional situations in your daily operations through notifications and enables you to take timely actions. In order to take advantage of these features, you need to set up the Notification Rules to create the necessary notifications from raised alerts for the responsible users and user groups.
A Notification Rule is always linked to an Alert Rule or Alert Group. Using the Notification Rules, you can also set up an automatic escalation process for overdue notifications. A notification that has not been worked on since a certain point in time can be escalated and potentially assigned a higher severity level.
To understand how notifications can be calculated based on the Notification Rules created, see How to: Calculate Notifications.
