Item Modifiers
You can add item modifiers to recipes and items. An example of item modifiers are pizza toppings that are assigned to pizza recipes. When you select a recipe to which item modifiers have been assigned, you can press a button to display a pop-up window. There you can select a number of item modifiers to add to and modify your recipe.
Text and Time modifiers are an "itemless" version of item modifiers.
You can group several sets of item modifiers (along with text and time modifiers) together in an item modifier group and assign this group to the recipe.
- Click the icon, enter Item Modifier, and select the relevant link to access the Item Modifier and Item Modifier Group lists, respectively.
Item modifiers use the POS Pop-up window.
Infocodes are used for item modifiers.
You mark the item modifier as linking lines to trigger line (you want the item modifiers to appear directly under the item they are modifying). You link the selection codes to specific items. This is the same as with cross-selling with the added complication of price handling.
Note: Recipes have a limit on the following:
- the number of additional items that can be added without charge.
- the number of ingredients that can be removed without changing the price.
- the number of ingredients plus added items.
Once you have created item modifiers, you can assign them to recipes, product groups, or item categories.
