Trans. Infocode Entry
In the POS Trans. Infocode Entry table all infocode entries from POS terminal Transaction Header that have an infocode
assigned are registered.
The Trans. Infocode Entry table is created on the POS terminal for transactions which include a
reference to an Infocode. The Trans. Infocode Entry table includes detailed information about the infocode
in the transaction, such as the information typed in by the cashier, the amount and so on.
When you perform a transaction, to which an infocode is assigned, the POS terminal creates an entry in the transaction table with Transaction TypeSales,
that contains the total figures of the complete transaction. The transaction includes the infocode and the input from the operator.
The program then creates infocode entries in one of the following ways:
If the infocode was assigned to a store action in the store table, the program creates a Trans. Infocode Entry with the Transaction Type Header.
If the infocode was assigned to an item in the transaction, the program creates a Trans. Infocode Entry with the transaction type Sales Entry,
that corresponds to the exact Trans. Sales Entry of the item.
If the infocode was assigned to an Income/Expense Account in the transaction,
the program creates a Trans. Infocode Entry with the transaction type Income/Expense Entry,
that corresponds to the exact Trans. Income/Expense Entry of the account.
If the infocode was assigned to a Tender Type in the transaction,
the program creates a Trans. Infocode Entry with the transaction type Payment Entry,
that corresponds to the exact Trans. Payment Entry of the tender type.
Example - When you have sold an item that has an infocode assigned, the system automatically registers the infocode with the relevant sales information in the POS Trans.
Infocode Entry table. Likewise, if you pay with a tender type that has an infocode assigned,
the system registers that infocode with the relevant payment information.
