Activity Attribute Setup
Attributes are a mechanism that lets the user add „fields” to contain information related to the reservation, activity, resource, or product.
By default, each of these areas only cover the minimum fields required for the internal logic of the solution. For specific types of reservations or activities, however, the user can add the fields below and they will then appear on the relevant cards and list pages.
Field | Description |
---|---|
Code | Unique ID to reference the attribute. |
Description | General description and caption of the attribute. |
Value Type | The type of value the attribute will contain. Available options:
|
Default Value | The default value the field contains when initiated. |
Min. Value | The minimum value allowed to be entered. Applied to numeric values only. |
Max. Value | The maximum value allowed to be entered. Applied to numeric values only. |
Instances | The number of instances this field is allowed per relation. |
Linking |
To which element the attribute will be linked and thus displayed at the appropriate pages in the solution.
|
Value Required | If the attribute accepts blank as input value or not. |
Option Value Table Link | If the options list is fetched from a table in Business Central. |
Option Value Field Link | The field value assigned to the attribute (based on the table link). |
Display on POS | If the attribute should be displayed and added to the POS lines when the product is sold. Only valid for activity and product attributes. |
Assignments | This setup lets the user control in more detail where the attribute is being used. For example, you may have different attributes on products based on activity type, or on resources based on resource group, and so on. No assignment settings assign the attribute on all relevant entries.
|
Init by Previous Value | Only relevant for Activity or reservation linked attributes. Defines if the attribute's initial setting should be defaulted according to the last value assigned on the related member or client. |
Fixed Attribute | Here the user can assign the attribute to be a Fixed attribute which will be displayed and be editable on the related card page, acting like any other normal field on the page, including filtering. Up to four attributes can be assigned as a fixed attribute per linking, that is the user can have up to four attributes shown on each card acting like a normal field. Attributes can be removed or re-assigned to the related card (see Linking above) by resetting the fixed attribute value. |
