How to: Transfer Items from One Table to Another
To try this you can use POS terminal P0011 and the restaurant in S0005.
Transferring Items from an Order to a Free Dining Table (Cover is Required)
- Press a dining table that already has an order (bill not printed and not paid). Guest number has not been selected for any items.
- Press Transfer on the pop-up menu.
- Press a free dining table to transfer to.
- Press Transfer on the pop-up menu.
- On the Transfer panel, press the >> column of a line you want to transfer. You can also press the line in other columns to mark the line, mark other lines and then press the >> column of any marked line to transfer them.
- Use Transf. Guest +/- to adjust the cover for the table you are transferring to. If you skip this, the program prompts you to enter cover (number of guests) for the new order when you press Transfer.
- Press Transfer.
The items have been transferred to a new order on the free table.
Transferring Guest Items to an Occupied Dining Table
- Press a dining table that already has an order (bill not printed and not paid). Guest numbers have been selected for at least some items.
- Press Transfer on the pop-up menu.
- Press a dining table to transfer to that has an order (bill not printed and not paid).
- Press Transfer on the pop-up menu.
- On the Transfer panel, select a line with the number of the guest you want to transfer and press Mark Guest to mark all lines with the same guest number (if available, press the Seat/Guest column of a line to mark all lines with the same guest number).
- Press the >> column of any marked line to transfer them. The cover and the guest numbers have now been automatically updated.
- You can still change the guest numbering of the transferred lines by selecting a line and using the Guest +/- buttons.
- Press Transfer.
The selected guest items have been combined with the order on the table that you pressed.
