How to: Split the Bill Evenly

Four guests sitting at the bar in S0005 want their bill split evenly.

Note: The hospitality type of the bar in S0005 is not marked as selecting guest on splitting. The number of guests is not registered for an order.

This example is made with POS terminal P0011 and the bar in S0005. The split bill panel for an order appears like this:

1. Press Split All Even. The program asks you to enter the number in which to split.
2. Enter 4 and press OK.

The program has now split all the lines in 4 and created 4 seat buttons:

Now you can pay for a guest. The Sales POS opens with a new transaction and after you pay and post it, the Split Bill panel opens again until all the guests have paid.

Note: If you do not want to split all the lines, you need to mark the lines you want (press the Description field) and select Split Even.

Note: The last guest amount contains the unavoidable rounding difference that happens during the splitting calculation.
