Single Room Reservations
Single room reservations are defined as reservations where only one room is reserved, regardless of the number of guests. If more than one room is reserved per reservation, it becomes a Group Reservation.
To create a new single room reservation in the BackOffice
- Click the New Reservation action in the Role Center.
- Fill in the necessary fields, and make sure that the Group Reservation is disabled. If the guest is not found in the database, a new member is created on the fly.
- Select room type and number of guests in the Price/Availability FastTab.
Note: If you book more than one room, the reservation automatically becomes a group reservation. - Click the Confirm Reservation action to confirm the reservation.
Once confirmed, the Reservation Card opens and there you can allocate a room to the reservation, you can check in the guest, and so on.
