The purpose of this display station type is to show the orders which are in queue to be processed. A typical use for it is in the Delivery/Takeout environment where the customers place orders in advance and the order is not to be processed right away.
This makes it easy for the restaurant staff to see what is coming up in the next few hours.
This station is very similar to the Expeditor station, except that the Start button is the only operation that is supported on it. You can use the button to send the selected order to production, for example when the customer shows up earlier than expected.
