Switching Dining Area Layouts Manually

Example

In this example you are going to switch to the WEEKEND layout created for the Upstairs Coffee House. You use the restaurant S0010, POS terminal P0019, and logon with staff 1001.

1. Finalize transactions (pay for all orders) on all dining tables.
2. Select the Upstairs Coffee House hospitality type.
3. Click Adjust Tables.
4. Click Switch Layout.
5. Confirm the question.
6. In the lookup window that appears, select the WEEKEND layout and click OK.

The system redraws the screen according the WEEKEND layout coordinates and setup. The system then automatically exits the adjust mode.

Note: If you are using a dining area plan to schedule when the dining area is open and which layout is in use, you cannot switch dining area layouts manually.
